Play Real Music in Your First Lesson
✅ Designed for Adults with Busy Lives
✅ Play recognizable songs immediately
✅ One-to-One guidance by Jessandra (19 Years Experience)
Forget the fear of feeling overwhelmed. Our approach is built so progress is audible every single week.
The "Real Life" Timeline ⏳
How long does it typically take before you are able to play something recognizable?
✅ Day 1-3: You are Playing Music
You can usually play very short, recognizable fragments.
A simple melody using 3–5 notes.
A rhythm they recognize.
A famous tune’s opening (even if it’s rough).
It may sound simple, but it already counts as music, not just exercise.
✅ Weeks 1–2: The "Wait... I'm Doing It" Moment
A full, recognizable song (children’s song, folk tune, pop riff, simple chord progression).
Rhythm and pitch start to lock in.
This is where confidence begins.
✅ Month 1: Confidence Kicks In
Ability to play several songs from start to finish.
Better tone, fewer stops, more confidence.
Ability to perform something for another person without apologizing first. 😄
✅ Month 2-3: You are a Piano Player
The music sounds intentional, not accidental.
Dynamics and groove begin to appear.
This is usually the moment you stop saying "I'm taking lessons" and start identifying as "someone who plays piano."
Your Journey in Summary
You’ll hear real music in the first week.
It won’t sound polished yet—but it will sound like a song you recognize.
From there, every week just makes it clearer and more confident.
Our Teaching Approach: T.I.M.E Method 🙂
Why traditional lessons often fail adults.
Traditional lessons are designed for children who have years to learn and hours to practice. They focus on drills and perfection. But adults need results they can hear now. That is why we built a method specifically for you.
✅ T — Tangible Progress (Week-to-Week)
You will hear the difference every week. We don't spend weeks fixing tiny mistakes. You leave every lesson playing better than when you walked in.
✅ I —Immediate Music (Day One)
Play a real song on Day One. No boring drills. No confusing theory. You will play something that sounds good in your very first lesson.
✅ M — Manageable Practice (Real Life)
Practice fits into your busy life. You only need 10–20 minutes a day. If you miss a week, it’s okay. We don't judge; we just keep going.
✅ E — Ears Before Eyes (Aural Skills)
We learn to listen before we learn to read. It is just like learning a language—you learn to speak before you learn to write. It feels natural, not hard.
"I'm afraid I'll feel lost or overwhelmed." 😰
That makes complete sense. Almost every adult I teach worries about that at first.
My job isn’t to see how fast you can learn — it’s to make sure you never feel lost or embarrassed in the process.
We only work on one clear thing at a time. If something feels confusing, that means I need to explain it differently — not that you’re doing something wrong.
You won’t be compared to anyone, and there’s no expectation that you practice perfectly. We move at a pace where you can actually enjoy hearing yourself improve.
And if you ever do feel overwhelmed, we slow down. That’s part of the design, not a setback.

Don't Just Take My Word For It
Basics for me! Thank you for being patient. I enjoyed learning new materials, and I hope I can catch up really quickly too. I like to play pop songs now, I did not know it is simple, but needs practice! See you in class soon!

Jessandra is a very determined teacher and would teach from the basics - history and theory to build a strong foundation. She has extensive knowledge and experience playing the piano, and can help everyone from those with zero music background like myself to those preparing for examinations!
Michelle ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Jessandra is very passionate about music, learning piano from her is easy and natural! She understands my current limitations and we worked on some exercises to get accustomed to it.
Man Yee ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My friend sent her daughter to Jessandra for piano lessons & recommended her as one of the most patient and talented teachers. Decided to send my child to learn from her as well months ago. My child is picking up her piano rather well. She is learning a mixture of classical music and random Disney songs from Jessandra. Would recommend any parents to this teacher. She is able to cater to the type of music you prefer your child to learn from taking grade exams to learning the basics.

FAQ 💭
A. Getting Started
1. Will I actually play a song in my first lesson?
Yes! We don’t spend the first lesson on boring theory or just finding "Middle C." You will learn a simple hand pattern and play a recognizable song immediately. The goal is for you to leave the first lesson feeling confident and sounding like a pianist.
2. Do I need to know how to read sheet music?
Not at first. We use an "Ears First" approach. Just like you learned to speak before you learned to write, we teach you to listen and play first. We introduce reading later, once your hands already trust the keyboard. This makes learning much faster and less frustrating.
B. Practice & Progression
3. I have a busy job. How much do I need to practice?
You do not need an hour a day. My lessons are designed for busy adults. Most students make great progress with just 10–20 minutes of focused play a few times a week. We focus on consistency, not long, grueling sessions.
4. Will I have to play boring scales and drills?
No. We believe in "Music Before Mechanics." You will learn technique (like chords and rhythm) by playing real songs you actually like. You won't be stuck doing abstract drills that sound like exercises.
5. How fast will I see results?
You will hear a difference every single week. We don't spend months polishing one tiny section. Each lesson adds a new "win"—like adding the left hand or making the melody sound fuller. You will always know exactly how much you have improved.
C. The "Adult-Friendly" Promise
6. What happens if I have a crazy week and can't practice?
Life happens! We have a "No Guilt" policy. If you miss a week of practice, we don't shame you or make you feel behind. We simply adapt the lesson to where you are that day. We move at your pace, not a strict syllabus.
7. I’m worried I’ll feel overwhelmed or "behind."
This is the most common fear adults have. My job is to make sure you never feel lost. We only move on to the next step when you feel ready.
